버드나무 정원에서 그녀와 나 만났었네.

눈처럼 흰 작은 발로 버드나무 정원을 지나며

그녀는 내게 일러주었지. 나뭇가지에 잎이 자라듯 사랑을

수월히 여기라고.

그러나 난 젊고 어리석어 그녀의 말 들으려 하지 않았네.

강가 들판에서 그녀와 나 서 있었네.

기대인 내 어깨 위에 눈처럼 흰 손을 얹으며

그녀는 내게 일러주었지. 둑에 풀이 자라듯 인생을 수월히 여기라고.

그러나 젊고 어리석었던 나에겐

지금 눈물만 가득하네.
